Syringa vulgaris ‘Belle de Nancy’ is a traditional lilac valued for its refined colour and richly layered flowers. In late spring, large upright panicles open in soft pearly pink shades, often showing a gentle silvery sheen that gives the blooms a luminous, elegant finish. The flowers are fully double and strongly scented, sitting clearly above fresh green foliage for a balanced, upright display. Best grown in a sunny position with free-draining soil, this variety matures into a dependable, long-term shrub that delivers fragrance, colour, and classic lilac character year after year.
