Syringa vulgaris CARPE DIEM (PBR) is a modern, compact lilac bred for gardens where space is limited but classic lilac fragrance is still desired. In late spring, it produces neat clusters of violet-purple flowers with a strong, traditional scent, held clearly above fresh green foliage. Unlike larger, traditional lilacs, this variety maintains a tidy, rounded shape with minimal pruning, making it well suited to borders, patios, and container planting. Reliable, easy to manage, and richly scented, CARPE DIEM offers all the character of a traditional lilac in a size that fits comfortably into contemporary garden spaces.
