Thuja occidentalis ‘Golden Smaragd’ is an evergreen conifer selected for its clean, vertical shape and warm foliage colour. It forms a narrow, upright plant with dense sprays of golden-yellow foliage that remain bright throughout the year without fading in winter. Growth is steady and controlled, allowing the plant to keep its outline with very little pruning. Combining the structure of traditional ‘Smaragd’ types with added colour, this variety is well suited to hedging, screening, or feature planting where year-round form, reliability, and low maintenance are priorities.
