Japanese Anemones for Late-Summer & Autumn Colour
Japanese anemones are one of the most useful perennials for keeping borders colourful as summer begins to fade. Their elegant pink or white flowers are held on slender stems above fresh green foliage, bringing height and movement to borders from late summer into autumn.
They work particularly well in cottage gardens, mixed perennial borders and partially shaded planting schemes, and combine beautifully with ornamental grasses, hardy geraniums, hydrangeas and other late-flowering perennials.
